Booking Terms, Conditions
& Waiver
Last updated: October 2, 2026
The fine print for a very good night out. This document outlines the terms and conditions for booking and attending Death & Co Members Only — private evenings for Death & Co members, shareholders, and their guests: Members Only LA at Death & Co Los Angeles and Bavel on October 19, 2026, and Members Only Seattle at Death & Co Seattle and Doris on October 21, 2026 (each, the “Event”). Each Event has a reception and a dinner.
The Event is hosted and delivered by Death & Co, operated by Gin & Luck, Inc. (together, the “Host”). Everyday Travel LLC (“Everyday”) acts solely as the Host’s ticketing and registration agent. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.
Everyday is not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Host, the venue, The Third Place, Inc., or any other supplier, including membership activation and benefits. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security. Everyday does not provide investment advice and does not act as a broker.
Questions? Reach us at concierge@deathandcompany.com.
1. Agreement & Acceptance
By making a booking, you accept all of the terms in this agreement and authorize Death & Co and Everyday to perform services on your behalf. All persons named in your booking (“Participants”) are subject to this agreement. By making a booking, you affirm that you have made all other Participants listed in the booking aware of these terms and that all Participants accept these terms, regardless of who makes payment.
2. Payment & Booking
Currency & Processing
All payments must be made in United States dollars (USD) and are processed through Stripe. Your payment statement will show “Death & Co.”
Saved Payment Method
When you buy a ticket or apply for dinner, your card is saved securely with Stripe on behalf of Death & Co (Gin & Luck, Inc.) so that confirmed dinner seats and future purchases related to the Event can be completed without re-entering your details. Your saved card will only be charged again as described in these terms or with your approval. Neither Death & Co nor Everyday stores your full card number. To remove a saved card, email concierge@deathandcompany.com.
Reception Tickets
Reception tickets are paid in full at checkout and are confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email. One reception ticket admits the ticket holder and one guest. Reception tickets are limited and sold on a first-come basis.
Reception Waitlist
If Reception Only tickets are sold out, you may join the waitlist by paying the applicable reception price at checkout. Places are offered in the order people joined. If a place becomes available, you are confirmed for the reception without any further charge and will receive a confirmation email. The Host expects to notify waitlisted guests by the dinner decision date for your city (October 12 for Los Angeles, October 14 for Seattle). If no place becomes available, you may choose either a full refund of your payment or a guaranteed place at a future Members Only event hosted by Death & Co, in any city, within 12 months. Where an Event is sold out on both reception and dinner (currently Seattle), the waitlist works differently: your card is saved and nothing is charged when you join. If a place becomes available for you, you are confirmed by email and your saved card is charged the applicable price for your ticket at that time; if no place becomes available, nothing is charged. Once confirmed from the waitlist, your ticket is subject to the same terms as any other reception ticket.
Dinner Applications
Dinner is by application and priced per seat. When you apply, you pay the applicable reception price at the time of application, which confirms your place at the reception, and your card is saved. If your dinner application is confirmed, your card is charged the balance for the seats in your application and you will receive a confirmation email. If your application is not confirmed, you remain confirmed for the reception and owe nothing further. Dinner applications are accepted only while dinner seats remain. Confirmed dinner seats are non-refundable. The Host decides which applications to confirm at its sole discretion and may give priority to applications that include a guest who is not yet a Death & Co member. Dinner tickets include the reception.
Member & Shareholder Rates
Tickets are available to Death & Co members, shareholders, and invited guests. Every booking requires a code provided by Death & Co. Member and shareholder codes give a discounted rate; other invitation codes are sold at the listed price. Codes are personal and may not be shared or sold. Your member or shareholder rate also applies to the guest on your booking. The Host may verify eligibility and may cancel any booking made with a code that was not issued to the purchaser, in which case any amount charged will be refunded.
Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email. Space is limited. We reserve the right to decline any booking or application for any legitimate reason.
3. Cancellations, Transfers & Refunds
No Refunds
All confirmed ticket purchases and deposits are non-refundable, except where these terms expressly provide otherwise. There are no exceptions to this policy, including for reasons related to weather, personal, family, or medical emergencies, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Transfers
Tickets are transferable. At our discretion, we may allow a one-time transfer of your booking to another individual, provided your request is made at least 48 hours before the Event by contacting concierge@deathandcompany.comwith your transfer request. All transfers are subject to the Host’s approval.
Event Credits
If you are unable to attend and do not wish to transfer your ticket, your purchase may be applied as an Event Credit toward a future Death & Co experience at our discretion. If the price of the future experience differs from your original purchase, the difference will be charged or credited only once dates are confirmed and you have agreed to proceed. Confirmed dinner seats are not eligible for Event Credit, as the Host commits to the restaurant in advance; they may only be transferred as described above. Where a booking includes dinner, only the applicable reception price may be applied as an Event Credit.
Event Credit terms:
- Event Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Event Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Event Credits must be redeemed within 12 months of issuance.
- Event Credits cannot be used after the expiration date.
- Event Credits may be redeemed for future Death & Co experiences, events, or at Death & Co locations (subject to availability and venue policies).
- Event Credits are the property of Death & Co and cannot be bought or sold.
Death & Co reserves the right to refuse, void, cancel, or hold for review any Event Credit at its discretion. By accepting an Event Credit, you agree that it is in lieu of any refund you might be entitled to receive, and you release Death & Co and Everyday from any claims relating to the original booking or any refund or compensation you might otherwise be entitled to.
No Refund for Unused Portions
Once the Event has started, no refunds will be provided for any reason for any unused portion, including if you or your guest leave early, do not attend, or are asked to leave. The ticket price is a package cost.
Who Is Responsible for Refunds
The Host is solely responsible for delivering the Event and for any refund, credit, or other payment owed to you under these terms. Everyday has no obligation to make any payment or refund, even when your payment was processed through its platform. Please direct any refund request or claim to the Host at concierge@deathandcompany.com.
4. Cancellation or Changes by Organizers
The Host reserves the right to cancel, alter, or modify the Event prior to its start date for any reason, including insufficient registrations or reasons beyond its control. The Host reserves the right to substitute venues, restaurants, speakers, activities, or other services with comparable alternatives if necessary to operate the Event.
Dinner Minimums
The Los Angeles dinner will go ahead regardless of the number of seats confirmed. The Seattle dinner goes ahead only if enough seats are confirmed, and the Host will decide whether it proceeds approximately one week before the Event. If it does not proceed, applicants remain confirmed for the reception, which they paid for when they applied, and owe nothing further. If any dinner seats were already charged, those guests will be welcome at the reception, and the Host will refund the difference between the amount paid for dinner and the applicable reception price.
Foreseeable Cancellations
If the Event is canceled for foreseeable reasons, the Host will work with you to explore options including transferring your booking to a future event, converting to event credit, or issuing a refund to the original payment method. A refund of payments made will constitute full settlement of any claims.
Force Majeure
Death & Co and Everyday will not be deemed in breach of this agreement by reason of delay or nonperformance due to Force Majeure — circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, terrorist activities, insurrection, flood, fire, war or threat of war, civil disturbance, labor strikes, sickness, quarantine, pandemic, government intervention, weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances. In such event, your booking will transfer to the rescheduled date if applicable, or you may keep 100% of your booking value as event credit valid for 24 months. If you elect to cancel, standard terms apply.
5. Guests, House Credit & Rare Bottle Credit
Guests
You may bring one guest as described for your ticket. You are responsible for your guest’s acceptance of these terms and for their conduct at the Event. For the purposes of the house credit below, a guest must be someone who is not a current Death & Co member and not an authorized user on an existing membership. Spouses and partners of members may join an existing membership as an authorized user and do not count as guests for the house credit, though they are welcome to attend as your reception guest.
House Credit When a Prospective Member Joins
If a guest you identified as a prospective member purchases their own Death & Co membership within 48 hours after the Event ends, you and your guest will each receive Death & Co house credit equal to the listed price of your ticket ($150 for the reception or $300 for dinner). If you are not a Death & Co member when you book and you purchase your own membership within 48 hours after the Event ends, you will receive house credit equal to the listed price of your ticket. House credit:
- is added only after your guest’s membership payment has cleared and any applicable refund period has passed;
- is valid for 90 days from the date it is added and may only be used at Death & Co;
- has no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money;
- is limited to three referral credits per member in any 12-month period; and
- is subject to the Host’s confirmation of eligibility, which is final.
Memberships are administered by Death & Co (Gin & Luck, Inc.) through The Third Place, Inc. (“TTP”) and are governed by the applicable membership agreement and the TTP Terms of Service.
Rare Bottle Credit
Where the Event page for your city offers it (currently Los Angeles only), each booking includes one $50 credit toward a bottle from the Death & Co Rare Bottle Reserve offered at the Event. The credit may be used on the night of the Event only, one credit per booking regardless of how many people it admits, in a single purchase. It has no cash value, cannot be combined or transferred, and applies only to bottles offered for this purpose, subject to availability. Bottle sales are subject to applicable alcohol laws and each venue’s license, which may require bottles to be opened and served on site.

You agree to drink responsibly. Death & Co reserves the right to refuse service of alcohol to any attendee at its sole discretion.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or remove anyone from the Event who we judge to be incapable of participating safely.
You certify that you have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage you may cause or suffer while participating, or else you agree to bear the costs yourself. Death & Co and Everyday are not responsible for costs associated with medical care, transportation, or related expenses.
9. Images & Media Release
You agree that Death & Co, Gin & Luck, Inc., Everyday Travel LLC, and their contractors and suppliers (collectively, the “Organizers”) may use, re-use, and reproduce any images, photos, or videos that you send to us, or that are taken by our staff, contractors, photographers, and/or other attendees of you individually or in a group, in any medium — including but not limited to print, electronic media, internet, social media, live streams, audio recordings, and video — free of charge and without your right to inspection, for promoting and publicizing Death & Co experiences and services worldwide.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you must inform us or your Event host in writing at concierge@deathandcompany.com at least 7 days prior to the Event, or at the start of the Event.
